Overnight stay

The city of Wuppertal has provided us with a sports hall for this weekend. It is beautiful, newly-renovated and has a wooden floor with fresh air. You can stay there for 10 Euros and the runner's breakfast on Saturday is included in the price. Please bring your own sleeping bag, mattress and toothbrush.

A hotel-overview + search function can be found at the Bergish three.

Bike support

A bike escort must be registered for start number, food and insurance.

If you have registered for bike support – it can – but does not have to – support you the whole way. The bike support can begin immediately from the start, but must ensure not to disturb any of the runners on the entire route.

Starting documents

You can pick up your starting documents on Friday between 15:00 and 19:00 at the Mirker station in Wuppertal. Someone from the WHEW team will be sitting there waiting for you. Late registration is also possible on Friday. On Saturday, we will open the starting office for those doing the 100 km, relays, and RuBi’s at 06:00 and again at 10:00 for the 5 and 10 km runs.

Late registration

Late registration is possible on Saturday to a limited extent 30 minutes before the start. The starters in the competitions at 07:00 would have an extra 10 Euro charge; those later on would have a 2 Euro charge.

We would ask for your understanding that we do not order hundreds of medals and starting numbers for the sake of it. There is therefore neither an entitlement to late registration nor a souvenir of the run.
